Why wool

Cute gets you to look. Wool is why you stay.

Softer laundry, naturally

Wool tumbles between your clothes and softens them as they dry. No liquid softener needed.

Goodbye, dryer sheets

One set replaces disposable dryer sheets for up to 1,000 loads. Less waste, fewer boxes to buy.

Helps calm the static

Wool helps reduce static cling and wrinkles, so laundry comes out easier to fold.

Helps cut drying time

By keeping clothes apart, the balls let warm air move through the load. How much depends on your dryer and load.

How it works

Three steps. No instructions needed. (But here they are.)

  1. Toss them in

Add 3 to 6 balls to a small or medium load of wet laundry. For big loads, use all 6.

  2. Dry as normal

Run your dryer as usual. The Heroes bounce around and keep your clothes from clumping.

  3. Leave them there

They stay in the dryer, ready for the next load. Nothing to refill, nothing to throw away.

Made by hand

Every face is a little bit different

Each Wooly Hero is hand-felted from premium New Zealand wool by women artisans, then finished by hand. That means no two faces are quite the same, and yours may look a little different from the photos. We think that’s part of the charm.

They’re built to last, too. Over time the wool keeps felting and may get a little fuzzy. That’s normal, and it won’t stop them working.

The gift that gets unwrapped twice

Once on the day, and again on laundry day. Wooly Heroes arrive in their own drawstring bag, ready to tuck into a stocking or hand to someone moving into a new home or expecting a baby.

Pick a crew that suits them: cats for the cat person, owls for the night owl, plain white for the minimalist.

Pet homes

Fur on everything?

As they tumble, wool dryer balls help lift pet hair off clothes and bedding and send it to the lint trap. Empty the trap after each load and you’re done.

And yes, the cat may want to supervise.

Good questions

Before you buy

Do wool dryer balls actually work?

Yes. They tumble between your clothes and keep them apart, so warm air can move through the load. That helps cut drying time, softens fabric naturally and helps reduce static cling. Results vary with your dryer, load size and fabrics.

How many should I use?

3 to 6 for a small or medium load. For a large load, use all 6.

How long do they last?

Up to 1,000 loads. They’ll get a little fuzzier along the way, and that’s normal.
